On 13th May 2026, over 20+ Sussex wedding suppliers came together at Cissbury Barns, one of the most sought-after wedding venues in West Sussex, to create a breathtaking spring wedding editorial inspired by the timeless romance and elegance of Bridgerton. The goal wasn't simply to produce a styled shoot; it was to create an immersive wedding experience that felt authentic, luxurious, and achievable for modern couples planning a wedding in Sussex.
From the initial concept, I envisioned a celebration that blended the grandeur and sophistication of Regency-era romance with contemporary wedding styling. Working alongside Hannah from HV Weddings, who played a pivotal role in coordinating suppliers and bringing every detail together, we carefully curated each element to ensure the final result felt cohesive, elegant, and full of inspiration.

A styled shoot is only as strong as the people bringing it to life, and we were incredibly fortunate to work with six wonderful models: Corrina, Adam, Dean, Karishma, Grace, and Claudia.
Each model played an important role in helping us tell the story of a modern luxury wedding inspired by Bridgerton. Corrina and Adam embodied the romance of a newly married couple, effortlessly bringing warmth, connection, and emotion to every scene. Their natural chemistry created beautiful moments that felt genuine rather than staged, allowing us to capture imagery that future couples can truly connect with.
Dean and Karishma added another layer of elegance to the editorial, helping showcase the versatility of the styling and demonstrating how timeless wedding fashion can suit different personalities and aesthetics. Their portraits within the grounds and reception spaces perfectly complemented the sophisticated atmosphere we were aiming to create.
Meanwhile, Grace and Claudia helped bring the bridal party vision to life. Wearing stunning bridesmaid attire and interacting naturally throughout the shoot, they created the feeling of a real wedding morning filled with excitement, friendship, and celebration. Every detail was designed to create an atmosphere of romance and sophistication while remaining achievable for modern couples planning a wedding in Sussex.
Charm Event Decor's attention to detail helped elevate every space within the venue, while To Have And To Hire Events curated beautiful pieces that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic.
Spring Florals and Thoughtful Details
Florals were at the heart of the design. Bryony Mae Flowers created breathtaking arrangements using seasonal spring blooms, delicate textures, and soft pastel tones that perfectly captured the freshness and romance of the season.
Alongside the fresh floral designs, Petal and Style incorporated luxury faux floral elements, demonstrating how couples can create visually impactful wedding styling while maintaining flexibility within their wedding budget.
The reception tables were styled with beautiful vintage china from Hove Actually Vintage China, creating an elegant English garden party atmosphere. Combined with bespoke stationery from Hart and Paper and luxury signage by Flairify Design, every element felt intentional and beautifully curated.
One particularly memorable detail came from Sasha's handmade flower coasters. These bespoke creations added a unique and personal touch to the tablescape, perfectly complementing the spring colour palette while showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of local Sussex wedding suppliers.

The bridal fashion showcased some of the finest wedding suppliers in Sussex.
The stunning gowns from Cath Adam The Bride Shop perfectly reflected the romantic elegance of the editorial. Paired with sophisticated bridesmaid dresses from Honora Dresses, the fashion styling balanced classic bridal beauty with modern luxury.
Accessories from Sorella Bridal Accessories, jewellery from Nichols Jewellery, and luxurious robes from Bridal Robes London completed each look beautifully.
Hair and makeup were expertly provided by Toni Todd Bridal, Gemma Souter, and Sophia Jane MUA. Their soft, romantic styling enhanced the natural beauty of each model while perfectly complementing the overall Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic.
Creating an Unforgettable Wedding Experience
The ceremony styling was brought to life by Zoe Jackson Celebrant and Lemonade Ceremonies, who demonstrated how personalised ceremonies can create meaningful and memorable experiences for couples and their guests.
Live music from Vanessa Sergeant added another layer of romance throughout the editorial, helping create an atmosphere that felt authentic and emotional.
Food and hospitality were equally important elements of the experience. Smothered Dips provided beautifully presented vegan canapés and artisan dips that looked every bit as impressive as they tasted. Their contemporary approach to wedding catering showcased how modern wedding menus can be inclusive, visually stunning, and packed with flavour.
The reception styling continued with a spectacular cake by Trula Marie Cakes, beautifully decorated cupcakes from Rachel Cakes Brighton, and an incredible dessert table by Dee Dee Findon.
